Family Advocacy

My family is a very special part of me and my life. They give me hope and inspiration. I am so lucky to have them. I realized that even if we experience a few difficulties in life, I am still blessed because we are strong and happy together. We live inside a beautiful home, we have foods to eat, we have some but we don't have the most of luxury. I am still thankful because God is giving us blessings and by these blessings, we are able to help other families in need.

My life As A Sayanista Student: Should I give it up now?

As I grow up, I realized that many people would change just to fit in. Many people will forget everything about you and what you've done good to them. It is true that once you made a a mistake, many people would notice it easily but not the things you've done and sacrificed for them. I realized that they're just like Chinese Dynasties, they come and they go. (Yeah. Social Studies lesson about Dynasties). There are those who will leave you hanging. But still, you'll be able to find out those who were willing to stay with you through thick and thin.Well, I would like to mention some names just for you to know how much they really mean to me and to my life. To Glenda Marie A. Andaya for being a true best friend, thank you for everything Tipa. And I'm sorry for all the things I've done, thank you for not giving up on me and my childish attitude. I love you Glenda, I know you've sacrificed many things just to stay with me. And for that, I thank you. I can't promise you anything but what I can do is to offer my friendship and my love. I'll always be here for you. Love love love. To Ivana Clarina Gloria, thank you so much ate for being such a good friend and a sister not just to me but to every people you've met. We haven't known each other for a long time yet but  I want you to know that I love you very much and I'll always be here for you no matter what happen. Thank you Ate IC for staying by my side whenever I feel sad or alone. Same goes for you ate IC, all I can do is to fill my responsibilities as a true friend for all the times and my friendship is my best gift that I can offer to you whenever you need a crying shoulder.I would also like to acknowledge my mom, Marifi L. Anastacio, I know you're reading all my drafts and published blogs and it's kinda embarrassing for me because I am not that expressive in personal. I want all my readers to know how much you mean to me mom. You know that. Thank you for everything, thank you because you gave birth to a beautiful child and that's me. To Ma'am Mildred, Ma'am Arlyn, Ma'am April and to Ma'am Louella, I'm sorry if I am so noisy during class hours, I'm sorry if I didn't exert more efforts and I am sorry for the way I act in front of you. I know I'm not the kind of "high-ranking" student but my love for all of you is so high that it almost reached the sky. I know I am lazy but to be honest, whenever I see all of you, I feel so complete because you've inspired me to move on and go along with the storm of life. You guys are the best, I love you to the moon and back. You guys are definitely the best persons I've ever met.
Not all things can remain stable as it is. We can't remain as fools for a very long time. Our knowledge should gain more and for us to gain more and improve ourselves, we should do our best. I also realized that if I give up now, I'll lose all of the important things and persons in my life. Studying here on CavSci opened a lot of opportunities and hope for me. I may not be able to express myself in front of the class, but through this blog, I can express myself. I am proud to say that this school can offer so much more to many students like me. Through this institution, I'll be able to learn and enjoy life at the same time.

An Unending Salute For the True Filipino Heroes of The Generation: A Tribute for the Fallen 44

Try to combine Superman, Batman, Spider Man, Thor, Captain America, Wolverine, Iron Man, Fantastic 4, Justice League, Avengers and many more. What can you imagine? A very powerful super hero right? Try to imagine what our dedicated soldiers did just to protect our nation. We did not witnessed the brutal killing of these brave soldiers but from what we've heard, those are enough to say that our might men sacrificed their own lives for their love and loyalty to their service and to their country. We can not hide the truth. We can not lie to ourselves, the Filipino Government lacks of many protection programs.
Nobody expected this to happen. Nobody wants this to happen. We can not blame everything to the Commanders and PNP Chiefs. If the MILF's wants peace, they should have never done this. It is clear to all of us that this is a massacre. If they want peace then we should give them peace but they should also give us the peace and everything we've always wanted long time ago. We can not give them our full trust anymore, but the decision is up to the government now.

9 Stations of Violations a Sayanista Student Must Avoid

Compared to Dante Alighieri's 9 Circles of Hell which were described as a concentric circle and is said to be described as this:  The smaller the circle of hell is, the bigger the impact of the sins. We all know that Inferno is inverted, so as the circles are getting small, it means the sins that the soul has done has a great impact.

So, what I did is I made my own 9 stations of Violations and those are the following:

1.  Incomplete Uniform
2. Throwing of Garbage Anywhere
3. Wasting of Electricity, Food and Water
4. Going to school late
5. Laziness
6. Not cleaning the room or any other area properly
7. Bullying
8. Disobeying School Policies (esp. English Speaking Campaign)
9. Cheating and Dishonesty

The first station is wearing Incomplete Uniform. During Brigada Eskwela, the students were oriented about this. So why do Sayanistas keep on disobeying it? Every school has a "No I.D No Entry" policy, so students of CavSci, and to all the students, please obey this policy not for the school's sake only but also for your sake too.
Second one is Throwing Garbage anywhere. We are in the Regional Science High School and we should be known as one of the most responsible students and a good example for all. Admit it, many Sayanistas students including me throw garbage anywhere. This is true to all, not only for Sayanistas but to those who were reading my blogs from other countries. So what should I do? What should we do? Let us all be awaken and be responsible enough to bring home our own garbage.
Misuse of water and electricity is been a long time issue in our school. Since the "No Collection Policy" was given, the government and the institution itself helps hand in hand to support the needs of the said institution. After washing our hands, let us not forget to close the faucet tightly even inside the comfort rooms, make sure that you won't forget to close the faucet after flushing. For the electrical usage, students must turn off the lights when not in use or if it is not really needed. The fans should be turned off too when leaving the classroom especially during dismissal hours.
Here's another violation that everyone should avoid. As a student, we should come to school early in the morning not just to sleep inside the room or cram homework or projects but also to clean the areas assigned to us. This one is not for the students only but also for some teachers who comes late for their class. I'm not being biased to anyone but to those teachers who are doing their best to come to school as early as they can, I salute all of you!
For the fifth station of violation in our school, laziness is very common to many students and to some teachers. I am not going to mention any names but if you know what I mean. Cramming, not complying on given assignments and projects, if complying it is late and not on due dates, not studying the given lessons, not reviewing for the exams, not doing blogs on time and many more to mention, those are the things that we do. We should avoid it now or it'll be too late.      T
The sixth violation is not cleaning the areas properly. It is one of the main reasons why our teachers gets mad to us. Because we are too lazy and irresponsible in cleaning our room.
Here it is, please don't be a bully to anyone. Some jokes may lower one's self-esteem. You may be having fun but some takes jokes seriously which can lead to depression. Know your limitations, know when to stop, learn how to consider other's feelings. Be sensitive enough and avoid making fun of others. You'll never know if they're experiencing some problems so what's best is to stop fooling around.
The eight station of violation is disobeying ESP or English Speaking Campaign. I admit, I disobeyed this policy many times but I started obeying this policy a few weeks ago. Sayanistas this policy is a must. We should speak in English to develop and improve our skills in English language communication.
The ninth violation and definitely one of the worst violation is cheating. Students can't resist cheating because we all want high grades, you may cheat once but it is already a big sin so please, to those students who cheat, stop cheating now. And to some teachers who accuse their students of cheating or changing scores, please know the truth first. If there's too many erasures on a students paper or anything, know what really happened before judging them. Some students cheat and the worst part is they deny it. Stop cheating, start studying NOW!

Blessed by the Pope: Across the Filipino's Minds and Hearts

Last year two thousand and fourteen, a good news spread all over the world and all over the country. The Holy Father of the Roman Catholic Church will come and visit the citizens of the Philippines. Lots and lots of Filipino Citizens heard about the news, and as it continuously spread all over the country, many preparations were done. Many devoted Filipinos prepared for the Papal Visit.

Year two thousand and fourteen came to an end which opened a new beginning for the year two thousand and fifteen. A new rise of the dawn, a new morning, a new day to celebrate the blessings of the Lord. A new rise of  hope that maybe one day, the beloved country and the beloved Filipinos can heal the agony as time passes by. A new rise of hope that maybe one day, we will all understand why all of this is happening to us and to our country.

Many days passed, the Papal Visit came nearer and nearer. People of the Holy Church became busy due to prioritizing the Visit of the Holy Father. During that time, I'm feeling so excited, like woah! Our country is really Blessed, we are so lucky to have the Pope visiting here. I mean, we all know that this is a very rare occasion, right? And I'm happy to see many people getting busy preparing for the coming visit. But, there's always been something that's bothering my mind. Why do Filipinos act like this way? I mean, we can devote to our Lord everyday. I know that this is an infrequent occasion and I understand why many people prepared so much. But, everyday is a devotion day, and we can be blessed everyday by our Lord.

A meaningful Homily was given by the Holy Father, Pope Francis. And that gave hope to many people. A hope that we'll recover from the damage brought by many challenges in life. From this, I realized that we should go into the storm and face the storm with faith in ourselves. We should trust in the Lord kindheartedly. I proved that giving up can't bring us to success, it'll just lead us down to a great failure and catastrophe. We should not give up easily because we are not alone, we may be experiencing hardships but a smile is a big relief in our heart, one smile can help us cure and heal the agony from within.

Long live the Pope and the Holy Church! May God Bless Us all! Let us pray for each other and for a better living and a better place to live.

Filipino Heroes

The Filipino government lets our fellowmen to work abroad. Why? Because it helps the country's economy to grow higher and achieve more. Most of us don't have a good condition in life, some have some while some have most. Let's face the truth, the reality for our daily lives. We move along within a circle of corrupt officials. We are in a system of people who doesn't think of other's status in life. We are in a system of a corrupt government. For me, Filipinos should not work overseas anymore if there's a lot of possibilities to explore here in our country for a better life than abroad. But what's happening? Our fellowmen struggles and find their way to get a better life abroad. They seek for a better living because they can not find it in here, in our country. Our fellowmen's goal is to find a better source of income to support their family's financial needs. We all know that some of our great and dedicated fellowmen are working overseas to support their family, to pay for their monthly bills, to support their children on their studies and to give their family a better life. Our great workers should not struggle overseas and be miles away from their families anymore if our government would support them and give them jobs.

Romeo and Juliet: Unhappiliy Never After

The Capulet s and the Montague s had their feud for a long, long time. Many believed that they had their feud because of their power and their social status in Verona. But what the people don't really know is that the family's feud was all about Romeo and Juliet. Lord Capulet, the said father of Juliet and Lady Montague, the said mother of Romeo had a relationship that lasted for many years long before Lady Montague met Lord Montague (the parents of Romeo). Lord Capulet and Lady Montague's love for each other lasted for many years and their love for each other bare a child named Lucille. Lady Montague did not know what to do after she delivered the child. Lord Capulet left Lady Montague but he brought Lucille with him. That time, Lady Capulet was also bearing a child, and when Lady Capulet delivered the baby, it died after some hours. Lord Capulet brought Lucille to his wife and told her that she was their new born child. Lady Capulet believed her husband and she named their child Juliet. Many years past but Lady Montague and Lord Capulet did not have their communication with each other. They did not know what happened to their child Lucille. What the people don't know is Juliet was the daughter of Lady Montague and Lord Capulet. Juliet grew up not knowing the truth. Romeo, the son of Lady Montague and Lord Montague fell in love with Juliet. They fell in love together later on not knowing that they were siblings. That's why the two families can't have peace. The two married each other but the tragic truth is they were not meant to be with each other.
